Posada Las Mayas is a charming small rural hotel, categorized as a 4 green stars inn. It is nestled in the town of Quintanar de la Sierra (in Burgos, Spain), in the heart of Sierra de la Demanda, flanked by Picos de UrbiÃ³n and Sierra Cebollera.

Posada Las Mayas opened in 2008, after remodelling its emblematic building of Quintanar de la Sierra, original from 1920. It is a family project that sets a way of life, a commitment to the rural areas.
One of our main goals is making you travel back to your childhood, and we also try to rescue the ancient spirit of Posadas -“tasty food and rest”-, offering the traveller a quality service and promoting the wonderful region of Pinares, located in the heart of Old Castilla, between Burgos, Soria and La Rioja.

Rooms in Quintanar de la Sierra: rural rest and relaxation
Las Mayas has 11 rooms (whose names have been taken from native trees and wild fruits) and have been decorated accordingly… All of them are spacious, with 180 cm double beds or 90 cm two single beds, white cotton bed linen like those of our grandmothers… Wooden beams from our forests, original stone walls that are more than 100 years old, glass and wrought iron elements, and small personalized details for each room that make it comfortable and relaxing.
